Bio

Originally from Brazil, Dr. Mayron Piccolo is a psychologist and behavior analyst dedicated to exploring the impact of rewards on enhancing the lives of historically marginalized groups, such as individuals with psychiatric disorders, immigrants, and refugees. His current work focuses on communal music as a potential social reward, aiming to improve mental health, well-being, and development among young children in these communities. Serving as a lecturer at Harvard University (where he has won many teaching excellence awards) and a Psychology Fellow at Cambridge Health Alliance, Dr. Piccolo integrates his academic teachings with real-world applications, partnering with NGOs and community members to develop scientifically-informed mental health resources for at-risk individuals.
